Multi-Step Listing Wizard
Anyone can create a listing in under 2 minutes. Seven guided steps — select status, upload photos, pick from dropdowns (no typing), add location, and submit. Designed for minimal user effort.
Instant Search & Filters
Search across all listings by status, pet type, gender, color, city, locality, and date range. Filter to verified-only or hide resolved listings. Results load instantly — no page reloads.
Smart Matching Engine
When someone reports a "missing" pet, the system automatically compares it against all "found" listings using location (40%), color (25%), breed (20%), and gender (15%). Top 10 matches shown on each listing.
3-Level Verification
Unverified → Volunteer Verified → Moderator Verified. Verified listings get a green badge and appear higher in search results. Prevents fraud and builds trust.
User Dashboard
Each user gets a personal dashboard showing all their listings — Missing, Found, Adoption, Relocation — plus resolved listings and profile settings. Mark listings as resolved with one click.
Automated Notifications
Email alerts for: listing approved, listing verified, possible match found, listing resolved, and new account welcome. Configurable from admin settings.
Mobile-First Design
Every screen is designed for phones first. Cards, large touch targets, responsive grids. Volunteers can use it in the field while searching for pets.
Secure & Standards-Based
WordPress coding standards. Nonce validation, capability checks, input sanitization, output escaping. No raw SQL. No paid dependencies.
Location System
Hierarchical cities and localities. Pre-loaded with Delhi NCR (Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gurugram + 6 localities). Admins can add more cities as the platform expands.
API-Ready Architecture
All business logic lives in service classes (Listing, Search, Matching, Location, Notification) — completely separate from templates. A future mobile app can reuse the same logic.
AI-Ready Matching
V1 uses rule-based matching (100-point scale). The architecture is designed so that V2 can swap in AI/ML matching — image recognition, behavioral analysis — without rewriting the platform.

Four listing types cover every common situation.
Missing Pets
A family's dog slips out the gate. They create a "Missing" listing with photos, last seen location, and distinctive marks. The system immediately searches for matching "Found" reports in the same area and notifies both parties if there's a high-score match.
Found Pets
A volunteer spots an injured stray cat. They create a "Found" listing from their phone, right on the street. The structured form requires minimal typing — dropdowns for type, color, and location. The listing goes live instantly and cross-matches against all "Missing" reports.
Adoption
A rescue NGO has 20 dogs ready for adoption. Instead of spamming WhatsApp, they create "Adoption" listings with photos, vaccination status, temperament info, and contact details. People can browse and filter adoption listings by city and pet type.
Relocation
A cow has wandered onto a highway in Ghaziabad. A volunteer creates a "Relocation" listing so nearby rescue teams can coordinate. Location data, landmark info, and contact details are all structured — no confusion about where or what help is needed.
Built on WordPress. Zero paid dependencies.
The plugin uses only WordPress core APIs — Custom Post Types, Taxonomies, Post Meta, and the REST API. No page builders, no premium plugins. Just clean, modular, namespaced PHP following WordPress Coding Standards.
